KABUL (AUAF) has hailed the Afghan government’s efforts for the release of its captive professors Kevin King and Timothy Weeks and support to the university during their captivity.
“The American University of Afghanistan thanks the Government of Afghanistan, and particularly Afghan President Dr. Ashraf Ghani, for their support over the three-plus years that our two professors, Kevin King and Timothy Weeks were held by the Taliban,” the university said in a tweet.
