PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): In a setback for the multi-billion dollar Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-India (TAPI) pipeline project, Islamabad has sought a gas price opener.
For talks with Turkmenistan on the issue, Pakistan announced on Wednesday establishing a five-member price negotiation committee (PNC)
Islamabad believes the existing prices are reasonably higher than liquefied natural gas (LNG) it is importing from Qatar and other countries.
Another key stakeholder, India has also urged the Turkmen government for price reduction according to Dawn. Price reduction talks could further delay . . .
