KANDHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Five students were killed and eight others wounded when the roof of a seminary collapsed in southern Kandahar province, an official said on Monday.
Bahir Ahmadi, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in Hakim Sahib area of Kandahar City, the provincial capital.
He added the roof of a home collapsed when a number of children were attending Islamic subjects. He said five children were killed and eight others injured in the incident.
