Under Article 107 of the Constitution, the Meshrano Jirga winter recess begins tomorrow.
Senate deputy secretary Faisal Samai said since beginning of the ongoing legislative year, the Mesharano Jirga approved 47 draft laws, legislative decrees and international agreements and summoned 631 government officials in its meetings to answer lawmakers’ questions. He said the house would rise for winter recess tomorrow (Wednesday)
