KABUL (IWA) on Tuesday said essential needs of people have not been considered in drafting next year’s budget plan while the incumbent government spent 150 billion afghanis more development budget than the previous one.
IWA’s findings show the national unity government spent 54 billion afghanis and the previous administration spent 37 billion afghanis from optional budget codes, but both administrations failed to follow the budget law.
The organization recently launched an investigation into budget spending and published the result of its findings today.
