Security forces retake control of Baghlan’s Guzarga Noor district

PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Security forces have retaken the Guzarga Noor district from the Taliban, an official said on Thursday.

The Taliban overrun the Guzarga Noor district six months earlier during a group attack.

Abdul Hadi Jamal, spokesperson for the Pamir Military Corps in the north told Pajhwok Afghan News that security force retake the control of Gurzarga Noor district after six months.

He said the Taliban suffered casualties during the clash but there was no exact figure of their casualties.

The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
