MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): Taliban Ahmad Shah was killed along with two others in an airstrike on Friday morning.
Shah aka Mullah Jabir was killed in Nawkhar village of the district, said the district administrative head, Haji Rahmatullah.
Allah Mohammad, a resident of Nawkhar village, said Ahmad Shah and his friends were emplacing landmines to target security forces’ convoys when they were hit from the air.
Local residents said announcements for funeral payers of the slain Taliban leader were made on load-speakers in mosques . . .
