HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): The National Directorate of Security (NDS) personnel have detained more than 50 suspected terrorists in western Herat province, an official said on Wednesday.
Addressing a press conference at the NDS office here, Governor Abdul Qayyum Rahimi said the suspects were arrested by intelligence operatives over the past two months.
Rahimi claimed the security forces also seized a cache of weapons belonging to militants in the Zinda Jan district of the province.
