PESHWAR (Pajhwok): United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Gutteres and the Pakistan army chief have discussed the Afghan peace process.
At a meeting in the garrison city of Rawalpindi on Monday, Guterres and Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa also conferred on the Afghan refugee problem and regional security.
A statement from the army’s media wing said matters of bilateral interest also figured at the meeting at the General Headquarters. Gen. Bajwa pledged continued support for stability in the neighbouring country.
