KABUL’s panel heads decided to resume work on Saturday.
The parliament’s recess started on January 21 and will end March 5. As per the relevant law, the president should inaugurate the first session of the parliament on March 6 after the winter recess.
However, the Presidential Palace in a letter to the Wolesi Jirga Secretary has said that the president would inaugurate the parliament on March 12 as he was engaged in issues relating to peace.
