KABUL members on Tuesday elected lawmakers Mirza Mohammad Katawazai as the lower house deputy speaker and Hujatullah Khirdmand as second deputy speaker.
President Ashraf Ghani on Saturday inaugurated the parliament after its 45-day winter recess.
In the previous voting two days back, 237 lawmakers were present and 11 lawmakers had nominated themselves for the four positions of the administrative board.
Each candidate was required to collect minimum 119 votes but none secured enough votes on the first day.
