Wahid Malyar, spokesman for the ministry, told Pajhwok Afghan News the three new cases had surfaced in Balkh, Kapisa and Samangan provinces.
He said the number of such cases had reached 10 in Afghanistan -- five in Herat, three in Samangan and one each in Kapisa and Balkh provinces.
According to Malyar, of 181 suspects, 10 individuals have tested positive for coronavirus so far. Some cases from Parwan, Daikundi and Paktia provinces have tested negative.
