KABUL (Pajhwok): As a result of political and other considerations, the western Herat province could not be quarantined so far, and this will have dangerous consequences, an official said on Monday.
Addressing reporters here, Public Health Ministry’s spokesperson Wahidullah Mayar said the ministry had recommended that Herat province should be quarantined to contain the spread of coronavirus but this has not been done so far due to political reservations and discriminatory factor.
