Islamic scholars during a meeting in Kabul on Sunday asked the government and the Taliban to create a joint commission on controlling coronavirus and put aside their political and military confrontation.
A statement from the Presidential Palace received by Pajhwok Afghan News said that President Ghani met with a number of Islamic scholars in the palace today and discussed with them ways for prevention of the virus spread.
