HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): A woman in western Herat province has dead of the coronavirus in Herat province, taking the number of fatalities to two in Afghanistan.
Public Health Director Abdul Hakim Tamana told Pajhwok Afghan News the 45-year-old woman lost her life to the virus at Shaidaee Hospital.
He said: “The woman had not traveled to Iran but was infected with the virus.”
