In a phone call, Javad Zarif informed Antonio Guterres about Iran’s efforts to advance the peace process in the neighbouring country, according to Fars News Agency.
Zarif also provided the UN secretary-general details of his phone conversations with President Ashraf Ghani, Dr. Abdullah and Foreign Minister Hanif Atmar.
During the telephone conversation with Zarif, the second of its kind in 24 hours, the UN chief gave a report on the international body’s efforts to maintain the ceasefire in Yemen.
