PARAKH (Pajhwok): Ten homes and a mosque have been damaged by an avalanche in central Panjsher province, an official said on Wednesday.
One school, two shops and as many vehicles were also damaged last night when the avalanche hit Abshar district.
Zabihullah Yazdani, Natural Disaster Management Department head, told Pajhwok Afghan News the avalanche occurred in Prangal area.
He said a road between the Hesa-2 district and Abdullahkhel Valley had been closed due to another avalanche in the Tandkhel area of the district.
