PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): At least five security personnel and as many Taliban militants have been killed during a clash in the Barak-i-Barak district of central Logar province, an official said on Sunday.
Ahmad Wais Abdul Rahimzai, the district’s administrative chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the rebels stormed a security check-post in Sangai Marmar area late on Saturday.
He said five security forces and as many insurgents were killed and four other security personnel seized by the militants.
