HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Five Afghan National Armey (ANY) have been wounded in a gun attack in western of Herat province, an official said on Wednesday.
Police chief spokesman Abdul AhadWalizada told Pajhwok Afghan News the ANA personnel were their way to Herat city from Shindand district airport on Wednesday morning when they came under fire.
The injured troops were in stable after they were shifted to the 207 Zafar Military Corps Hospital, he added.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
