PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): The Interior Ministry in Islamabad has been directed to grant Pakistani citizenship to an Afghan woman who married a Pakistani man three years ago.
The Peshawar High Court issued the directives to the ministry on a petition filed by Mohammad Ilyas, who sought Pakistani citizenship for her Afghan wife on the basis of the Pakistan Citizenship Act of 1951.
