KABUL (Pajhwok): Workers of the Fertilizer and Power Plant in northern Balkh province say the Afghan Gas Enterprise has given the gas they need to Bayat company in Shiberghan city, bringing the plant to the verge of collapse.
The factory suspended productions two months ago, rendering hundreds of workers jobless. The jobless workers on Sunday staged a protest rally and asked the central government to address the issue as soon as possilbe.
