HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): A dozen of doctors and nurses working at the maternity hospital in western Herat province have tested positive for coronavirus and they are currently quarantined.
Sayeeda Sayeed, director of the 100-bed maternity hospital, told Pajhwok Afghan News that at least 170 health workers, including doctors, specialists, nurses and others worked in the hospital.
She said 12 members of the staff, including doctors and midwives, had been tested positive for 40 percent Covid-19 signs could be recognized in them.
