KABUL prisoner has died of coronavirus in the central Jail of southern Helmand province, according to a statement on Friday.
The deceased prisoner was Sherin son of Abdul Qodus who was suffering diabetes and heart disease besides contracting coronavirus recently, a statement from the Governor House said.
“The Taliban prisoners was provided with treatment first in jail but later he was transferred to coronavirus rehabilitation centre in Lashkargah where breathed his last,” he said.
