The United States and the Taliban signed in Doha on Feb. 29 the landmark peace agreement, which envisions the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan.
A spokeswoman for the foreign ministry in Moscow said on Wednesday the normalisation of the situation would enable the Afghan government to fight more effectively the threats of terrorism and drug commerce.
