KABUL to renounce war and observe a ceasefire.
A statement from the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) said Secretary-General António Guterres submitted to the Security Council his latest quarterly report on the situation in the war-torn country.
The report deals with political developments, the security situation, regional cooperation, human rights, coordination of uplift assistance, humanitarian aid, counter-narcotics, as well as mission support and observation.
It is expected to be presented by Guterres to the General Assembly of the UN . . .
