KABUL (Pajhwok): The governor of eastern Nuristan province survived an attack in the Sarobi district of Kabul on Sunday morning, but one of his security guards was killed and another wounded.
The attack happened on Governor Hafiz Abdul Qayyum’s vehicle in Mahipar area, his spokesman Mohammad Hashim Faizi told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said Qayyum escaped unhurt but one of his guards was killed and another wounded. The governor was on his way to Nangarhar from Kabul.
