CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): A 14-year-old girl has been shot dead after she rejected a marriage proposal in central Parwan province, officials said on Sunday.
Women Affairs Director Shah Jan Yazdan told Pajhwok afghan News the incident took place on Saturday.
She said the girl had gone out with her family for picnic. A resident of Toghbardi village, she was shot dead by unknown gunmen.
