KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Three security personnel were killed and 14 others wounded when a car bombing hit the Shah Walikot district centre in southern Kandahar province on Wednesday morning.
A reliable source told Pajhwok Afghan News the explosion happened when an explosives-packed international military vehicle was detonated on the first military base early in the morning.
Three Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers were killed and 14 others wounded in the car bombing, the source added.
Kandahar security officials confirmed the blast but did not provide information regarding casualties.
