KABUL (Pajhwok): The US embassy in Kabul on Monday said intra-Afghan talks must be Afghan-led and Afghan-owned.
US Chargé d’Affaires Wilson Ross in a video message said the intra-Afghan talks were said to be held next week in Qatar between the Afghan government and the Taliban.
Wilson said the US welcomed latest progress in the peace process and that Washington wanted the talks to be Afghan-led and Afghan-owned.
