HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): The 300-bed Ghoryani Hospital for coronavirus patients in western Herat province has been closed after a 50 percent decline in positive cases, an official said on Saturday.
Mohammad Rafi qSherzai, spokesperson for the Department of Public Health, said the facility was shut after a 50 percent decline in coronavirus cases and to avoid waste of state resources.
He said the decision to close the Ghoryani Covid-19 Hospital was taken by the provincial committee for fighting the pandemic.
