KABUL free from terrorism, Prime Minister Narendra Modi says.
While greeting President Ashraf Ghani and the people of Afghanistan on the Independence Day of their country, Modi assured Kabul of all possible assistance.
“Happy Independence Day to President Ashraf Ghani and Afghan people,” the Indian leader tweeted on Tuesday.
Afghanistan celebrated its Independence Day on August 10. The Central Asian nation declared its independence from Britain in 1919.
“India supports Afghanistan’s aspiration to shape its own destiny for a better future, and its pursuit for a just society,” Modi wrote.
