88 civilians Killed by Taliban in 2 weeks: MoI

KABUL attacks in the past two weeks, says the Minister of Interior.

Tariq Arian, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior Affairs (MoI), said in a statement 88 civilians were killed and 133 more injured in the past fortnight.

“The Taliban conducted their activities and crimes in 27 provinces of the country, causing most casualties in Kandahar and Ghazni provinces,” claimed the MoI spokesman.

Targeting civilians was against all religious teachings and military principles, he said, as a dozen people lost their lives in Taliban attacks in different part of the country.
