KABUL announced their prisoners release process has not been completed and the group would start talks after some of its prisoners are freed.
Mohammad Naeem Wardak, the Taliban’s Qatar Office news spokesperson, said talks for the prisoners release was underway and intra-Afghan talks would begin after their prisoners are free.
Naeem said the Taliban’s negotiating team was ready for talks.
Najiha Anwari, spokesperson for the State Ministry for Peace, said Afghan government team was ready for talks.
