KABUL’s new negotiating team for peace talks with the Afghan government, the rebel movement says.
Zalmay Khalilzad met the head of the Taliban's political office, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, and the new head of the group’s negotiating team, Abdul Hakim Haqqani, in Doha on Tuesday.
Qatar's deputy prime minister also attended the meeting, Taliban spokesman Dr. Mohammad Naeem tweeted.
