KHOST (Pajhwok): Four wedding guests were killed and eight others wounded when a bomb-rigged motorcycle went off in a village near the provincial capital of southeastern Khost province last night, police said on Friday.
The blast in Sattar village on the outskirts of Khost City targeted guests who were listening to local musicians at around 10:30pm, said provincial police spokesman Adil Haider.
He said four people were killed and eight others, all civilians, were wounded in the blast aimed at killing the groom, an Afghan army service member who remained unhurt.
