Fawad Aman, a spokesman for the MoD, tweeted, “The two sides discussed security and border issues as well as bilateral cooperation.”
He wrote, “The defense minister appreciated Chinese government assistance with Afghanistan and emphasized on continuation of Afghan - China bilateral cooperation in future.”
It’s worth mentioning that during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Chinese government provided some medical assistance to people of Afghanistan and to the Afghan security forces.
