KABUL (Pajhwok): Second Vice-President Sarwar Danish on Monday said he respected Ahmad Shah Baba and Amanullah Khan and his yesterday’s remarks were not ethnical or personal, but to compare the republican and monarchical systems.
On Sunday, the second vice President Sarwar Danish made controvercial remarks about Ahmad Shah Baba in presence of President Ashraf Ghani, triggering widespread criticism in social media.
Sarwar Danish along with President Ghani traveled to central Bamyan province and made the remarks at a gathering.
