Ghani, Lyons confer on Afghan peace efforts

KABUL have discussed issues of mutual interest.

Ghani and Deborah Lyons discussed a range of issues related to the Afghan peace process, the overall situation in the country and operations of UN agencies in Afghanistan, particularly development projects.

They also exchanged views on the government’s anti-corruption measures, achievements of the past six years and preparations for the Geneva Conference, a statement from Ghani’s office said.
