In Riyadh, he Foreign Ministry said the Saudi government had followed up on reconciliation between Kabul and the Taliban.
A statement from the ministry said the kingdom supported the reconciliation process and everything that reduce violence in Afghanistan.
It added: “The kingdom was and is still with Afghanistan and the Afghan people to fulfill all of their hopes and aspirations.”
