KABUL (Pajhwok): Police on Wednesday detained two individuals in connection with beating doctors at the Istiqlal Hospital in Kabul, an official said.
Hospital Director Dr. Ahmad Javed Yousafpur told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident took place at 8:15am in the surgical ward.
“A man injured in a traffic accident was evacuated to the hospital. The car driver fled as relatives of the injured assaulted the doctors,” he added. Two relatives of the patient were detained by police.
