PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has urged the Afghan leadership to work together constructively for an inclusive, broad-based and comprehensive political settlement.

Khan voiced his optimism at a meeting with Afghanistan’s High Council for National Reconciliation (HCNR) Chairman Dr. Abdullah Abdullah in Islamabad late on Tuesday.

Khan welcomed the start of intra-Afghan peace negotiations in Doha, asking Afghan leaders to seize the historic opportunity and work collectively for stabilising their country.
