LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): At least 10 security forces have been killed and two others captured by the militants when a car bomb struck their check-post in southern Helmand province.
A security official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told Pajhwok Afghan News the bomb attack took place in the Yakhchal area of Greshk district on Tuesday night.
He said the explosives-packed vehicle struck the check-post, leaving 10 security personnel dead and two others captured by the militants.
Meanwhile, another source told Pajhwok that six security forces were killed and a seventh wounded in the overnight attack.
On the other hand, a Taliban source said the militants had arrested two security personnel after the car bombing in Greshk district.
