KABUL (Pajhwok): Twelve security personnel have been killed in the Aliabad district of northern Kunduz province, an official said on Friday.
The Taliban stormed security forces check-posts in the Jail Tapa locality on Thursday night.
The Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid also claimed attack on security forces check-posts in the Aliabad district.
He claimed 17 security forces were killed in the attack, three tanks were destroyed and tens of weapons recovered.
