<p>QALAT (Pajhwok): At least six policemen were wounded as result of a car-bombing in Qalat city, capital of southern Zabul province, on Thursday morning, an official said.</p>
<p>Police spokesman Lajwar Khan told Pajhwok Afghan News the <a href="/en/taliban" class="glossify-link">Taliban</a> militants blown up an explosive-laden targeting Noorak base at around 03:00am.</p>
<p>He said six policemen were wounded in the attack and a building in the base was demolished. </p>
<p>Khan said after the explosion, a clash was occurred in which eight Taliban militants were killed.</p>
<p>The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.</p>
