HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Around 150 suspects have been arrested in connection with different crimes in western Herat province, an official said on Tuesday.
Herat police chief Sultan Dauat Sultan told a press conference in Herat city, the provincial capital, that the detainees were accused of terrorist activities, kidnapping, armed robberies, administrative corruption and had been arrested by intelligence operatives Special Unit in the past two weeks.
He said the suspects were detained in Herat City, the provincial capital, and in some districts along with 25 different types of weapons.
