<p>PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): One security official has been killed and seven others have been wounded in an attack and a blast in central Logar province.</p>
<p>A government official, who declined to be named, told Pajhwok Afghan News the militants attacked the security forces, using a drone camera.</p>
<p>He said two security personnel were injured in the attack. They were evacuated to hospital by their colleagues.</p>
<p>On their way back from hospital, the security personnel were struck by a roadside bomb planted by the rebels, the official. One security official was killed and five others were wounded.</p>
<p>Deedar Lawang, the governor’s spokesman, said one National Directorate of Security (<a href="/en/nds" class="glossify-link">NDS</a>) officer was killed and four others, including three policemen, were wounded in the blast in Barak-i-Barak district.</p>
<p>Lawang, however, denied the rebel attack involving a drone camera. He confirmed the landmine blast.</p>
