2 policewomen injured in Kapisa gun attack

MAHMOOD RAQI (Pajhwok): Two policewomen were injured when their vehicle came under gun attack in the Hisa-e-Doem District of central Kapisa province on Sunday.

Police spokesperson Abdul ShaeqShoresh confirmed the incident and said it happened at around 8:30am.

Dr. Mohammad Shoaib, the Public Health Department head, said the injured policewomen were shifted to the Baba Ali Hospital and one of them was pregnant. He said doctors strived to extricate the infant from womb to survive it.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
