14 people killed, 50 injured in Bamyan, Khost blasts

BAMYAN CITY/KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): 14 people were killed and 50 others injured in bomb blasts in central Bamyan and Southeastern Khost provinces on Tuesday, an officials and a reliable source said.

14 civilians were killed and 50 others injured in two separate blasts in Bamyan City, Police Spokesperson Mohammad Raza Yousufi said.

One blast happened took place at ninth road square while the second occurred in front of Najaf Mama Hotel in the city, he said.

Separately, five people were injured in a bomb blast in the car parking area of administrative complex in Khost City.

A well-placed security source said the magnetic bomb blast was attached to Provincial Advisor Abdul Naseer Haqmal’s vehicle.
