5 drug smugglers detained in Parwan: Police

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Five smugglers have been detained along with more than 11 kilograms of narcotics in central Parwan province, police said on Thursday.

In a statement, Parwan police said the smugglers were detained in four operations in the past 24 hours.

The detainees wanted to distribute drugs to addicts when they were arrested. The narcotics included 890 grams of heroin, nine tablet-k, and 68 bullets of pistol and a hand grenade.

The detainees were referred to judicial organs after primary investigations.
