GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Three Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers were killed and three others wounded when a car bombing targeted a security post in southern Ghazni province on Wednesday.
Wahidullah Jumazada, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that an explosives-packed vehicle struck the ANA post in Mullah Noh Baba area of Andar district this morning.
Meanwhile, Ministry of Defence in a statement confirmed that an ANA post was attacked in Ghazni province.
The sources said: “The militants initially opened gunfire and then wanted to hit the security post with explosives-laden vehicle that identified by security forces before reaching the target.”
Two ANA soldiers were killed and three others wounded in the attack, the statement added.
Taliban have not yet commented about the attack.
